Mr. Hanchett completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Seton Hall University School of Law in 2006 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2007.
Mr. Hanchett began his legal career practicing construction defect litigation where he represented Fortune 500 companies, general contractors, developers, and insurers. In 2008, he served as Vice President of Operations for a startup company with a focus on compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Mr. Hanchett later joined one of the nation’s largest tax and business restructuring firms where he successfully negotiated hundreds of resolutions on behalf of his clients with the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. Mr. Hanchett currently serves in an Of Counsel role with Kumpf Charsley & Hansen, LLC, where he practices in the areas of tax, estate planning, and personal injury.
Mr. Hanchett has served in a variety of leadership and youth-related capacities in his community and church. He and his wife have been married for 23 years and have four sons.
