Rachel Sykes graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2007. During her first year of law school, she won a runner-up award for the best oral argument among first year students. Ms. Sykes was also an editor of the Idaho Law review. She was awarded the only “Outstanding Student Writing” award for the Idaho Law Review in 2006. Ms. Sykes clerked for the Honorable Gregory Orme at the Utah Court of Appeals. Ms. Sykes has over a decade of experience as an attorney in personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights in both state and federal courts. She has resolved hundreds of personal injury cases in the last decade and has significant jury trial experience in both state and federal court. She also has significant state and federal appellate experience.
Ms. Sykes has known she wanted to be a lawyer since youth. She enjoyed watching her dad helping personal injury clients recover while she was younger. She enjoys holding wrongdoers accountable for their actions. Rachel is a member of the Utah Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, and National Top 100 Trial Lawyers.
